Privacy Policy

This policy describes how rawlightlabs (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the ChewClue mobile and web application (the “App”).

1. Who we are

The App is operated by rawlightlabs. For support, privacy questions, or data requests, contact us at rawlightlabs@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

We collect information you provide and data the App stores to make the service work.

• Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and credentials managed through our authentication provider. We use this to create and secure your account.
• Food log data. Information you enter about meals—such as date, meal type, descriptions, and tags—is stored in our database and associated with your account.
• Daily check-in data. Information you choose to log—such as sleep quality, energy, mood, pain, bowel habits, notes, and any custom fields—is stored in our database and associated with your account.
• Technical data. Like most online services, our hosting and infrastructure may process technical information (for example, IP address and device/browser signals) when you connect to the App. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs inside the App as described in our current codebase.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App;
• Authenticate you and keep your data separated from other users;
• Sync your data across devices when you sign in;
• Respond to your support requests and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for cross-app tracking for advertising.

4. Where data is stored (Supabase)

We use Supabase (supabase.com) to host authentication and your app data. When you use ChewClue, information is transmitted to and stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase processes data on our behalf as a service provider. Their privacy practices are described in their documentation and policies at supabase.com/privacy.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers needed to run the App (currently, our database and authentication host), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. We do not share your health-style logs with advertisers.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing rawlightlabs@gmail.com. We will delete or anonymize personal information unless we must retain certain data for legal obligations.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to the service (including encrypted transport and access controls on the backend). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact rawlightlabs@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your region.

9. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your own.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law or through the App.
